For those viewers who were worried about the fate of Elsa Dutton, Tim and Faith's daughter in the Yellowstone spin-off prequel 1883, played by 21-year-old actress Isabel May, the veritable farm was indeed purchased following the show's two final episodes.

“When we got the final two, we literally couldn’t read them to each other because we were crying so much — I mean, ugly, boohoo crying,” says Tim McGraw about the show's scripts, in a new interview with Variety. “I was a blubbering idiot. It was just so well-written, so devastating and heartbreaking, but at the same time, so on point and poignant for what ‘Yellowstone’ turned out to be. It just gives you all the reasons in the world why they fight so hard for that land and why their family fights so hard for to keep what they have. It just made perfect sense.”

Faith doubled down, explaining that Tim, "couldn’t read it because he was bawling." Adding, "It took me about an hour to read it to him because most of the time, I couldn’t catch my breath I was crying so hard."

Good news, Yellowstone fans! Not only has the show’s prequel, 1883, been granted an extension, but a new Taylor Sheridan-directed prequel has received the green light as well. 1932 will explore westward expansion through the eyes of a new generation of Dutton family members as they venture westward through the times of Prohibition and the Great Depression.
