Walker Hayes is delighted about being on the road with his family of eight! "I love it, I just love it," the GRAMMY-nominated singer told PEOPLE.

The Hayes family is currently traveling across the country together for the “Fancy Like” tour, named after his 2021 mega-hit. In total, his wife Laney, their six kids, and two dogs are along for the ride, which stops in 19 cities including Hayes’ hometown Mobile, Alabama.
"We're a unit," said Hayes. "We lean on each other. We're gonna be together as much as we can.” This is the first time the entire family is touring with the Country artist. Reportedly, the family bus, known to Hayes as "our house on wheels" has a dozen bunks, a bathroom, a kitchenette, storage space, and a small common area.
Typically on weekdays, Hayes spends his mornings working out or doing a radio interview, ahead of soundcheck and performing. Meanwhile, his wife homeschools the kids during the day.
On evenings and weekends, the family spends quality time with each other. "I never have to say goodbye to my wife and kids," said Hayes. "I literally hug them before I go on stage, and I hug them when I get off."
The "Fancy Like" tour concludes in Louisville, KY on April 30.
