“They’re starting to kind of kick in if I’m honest,” Carly told Audacy’s Katie Neal of her nerves. “Like, ‘Oh my gosh! It’s happening.’ Whatever happens is fine, but oh my goodness! It’s so exciting.”
While excitement surrounding the outcome of her four nominations (Female Artist, Album of the Year, Music Event and Music Video) is starting to build, there’s one part of the show Carly is basically dreading… performing in front of her peers.
“I hate it,” she laughed before naming the stars she tries not to lock eyes with from the stage. “Like, Carrie! You know, just those women that you love so much… you’re just like, woah! It’s crazy!”
Guess we’ll know why if Carly’s eyes are closed on stage tonight!
Tune in to the 57th Annual ACM Awards tonight at 8PM ET/7PM CT. Hosted by Dolly Parton, Gabby Barrett and Jimmie Allen, live from Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, it’s the first time in ACM Awards history, the show will be exclusively broadcast live via Amazon’s Prime Video.
