Another week, another adventure ahead! This past week and weekend Oregon was blessed with some of the nicest weather we have seen in 2021. Of course, I had to take advantage and do something fun! Pat Acres Racing Complex in Canby, OR officially announced their opening of the PARC motocross track for the season. My brother and I grabbed our bikes early Sunday morning, filled the gas tanks and headed to Canby for the first track day of the season!
At Pats Acres you can ride the motocross track 9am to 5pm for $35 ($25 for 15 and younger). There is a first time $15 membership fee for the year as they are considered a private club. Pats Acres is originally known for their go-kart racing and car drifting located on the left side of the property. This area is very organized and easily accessible! Keep driving down all the way to the back of the property and you will see a fun, man made track in between the trees.
While this track is not comparable to a pro motocross track such as Washougal, PARC is a great spot to brush up on your skills and learn the basics. This track gives you obstacles such as limbs, rutted dirt, doubles/triples and rough take offs on jumps that will lead you to being a better rider of all terrain. Each time I go back here the track and dirt gets better and better, and you can tell the staff are putting in tons of work to make this place a fun and safe track for all ages to enjoy. They are also starting to host some races as well!
Be sure to check out Pat's Acres Racing Complex for motocross AND drifting this spring and summer season to get out of the house and have some fun.
