Today's #FridayFlow can be done by anyone any time, and should be done by everyone every day. At least that's what I think. I'm a little biased though, since I see so many awesome results with clients and this is a part of their routine, whether it's a 20-something about to set a new personal best deadlifting, or an 80-something that is challenged by the balance needed for the side-bends.
I can confidently say they are remarkably helpful at the beginning of a workout session to enable all sorts of people to reach all sorts of goals. Don't worry if you don't go to the gym though; they're a remarkably helpful way to start your day too! Again, that's my opinion because I think taking a simple action that's a commitment to your health has a big impact on your subconscious. Also you've just been lying still for 4-10 hours, so that's as good a time as any!
Run through it 2-5 times (each round takes about a minute at the speed I went, which is the speed I recommend) and see if you feel a little better. If so, do it when you wake up tomorrow and see how that goes. If you dig it, keep doing it. Dammit. I'm so bad at just giving orders for people to follow. Probably cuz I've never been great about following them myself, haha! If you need concrete guidelines from a qualified fitness professional, I encourage you to go through this 5 times at a slow, controlled pace, in the EXACT order I did it, immediately after your wake-up piss.
If not, feel free to do it your way. All I'm saying is these are solid moves to keep you feeling good. That's helpful regardless of your goals.
