It's #MobilityMonday and today we're gonna target a muscle that pulls on your hips AND low-back (it actually connects them). When this muscle gets tight it can cause pain or discomfort in one or both of those spots. This muscle commonly gets tight from sitting a bunch, which a ton of people do in 2019. This means this drill can help a lot of people. The muscle is called the psoas (pronounced so-as), if you care.
Make sure to keep a long neck. Rewatching this, I'm realizing I did a poor job of that later in the video, because I kept wanting to turn towards the camera and was distracted thinking of my unscripted-as-always explanation.
Tune in next week for the progressions I teased in the video (but cut out before posting so this version gets the attention it deserves!)
