In case you're wondering where my usual daily blog about fitness is, I WAS working on a very personal #WeightRoomWednesday post about how the gym helps me keep my mental health under control. (Of course last week I also promised this week would be a sequel to "Dont Let D-Bags Keep You From The Gym" called “Hard Truths About Those Intimidating Stares At The Gym”.)
One thing the gym has taught me is sometimes you gotta call an audible. That’s exactly what happened when I saw that top clip came through my feed 20 minutes ago. (thanks to Rockaholic Bryan!) I had to. This blog is writing itself as I type.
Between Down and Pantera, Phil Anselmo is probably the voice I’ve heard the most in the gym. Seeing him on stage with Seattle royalty like Duff and Alice in Chains (both Pain in the Grass alumni too!) was too rad not to share.
