Celebrate with me! The Hawks have gone 2-0! Albeit, we've won both games with a combined 3 points, as we say in Seattle, a W is a W.
I'm not going to bother with the Bads of this week, because it's the same argument all over again from last week. That O-line has got to give Russell better protection. It's getting beyond the point of dump passes, now he's getting sacked with ease in the backfield. But, all that aside, he's still one of the best in the game
And how about my boy Dissly this weekend! I was devastated when he was taken out so early last season, and with such a significant injury made me a little shakey about how he would come back, but boy did he.
Also great showings from DK Metcalf, Chris Carson, Rashaad Penny, and of course Tyler Lockett. There's still bugs to get worked out in certain areas, but this showing got my confidence a good boost for the rest of the season. Looking forward, we know that we're not going to face Drew Brees, but we have a knack for laying a little too far back when we think we've got the edge. In my opinion, the boys need to make a statement against the Saints this weekend. How will it look? We shall see. With that....Mike Hawk is OUT!
