Welcome to Thee Head Chef, Thee Ted Nougat's kitchen. Pull up a spork and know that you'll be leaving a little more full, satisfied and this time, educated. We have so many fantastic, black-owned local restaurants in the area and we wanted to really shine a light on some that have earned that spotlight with finely crafted flavor, spice and atmosphere. 

Ted's Meat and Potatoes brought some soul food and the history behind it to the table this week and our taste buds couldn't be more pleased. Today, he had three treats plated for us from Fat's Chicken and Waffles!

As we send a HUGE thanks to Seattle Met for publishing their list of These Black-Owned Seattle Restaurants Are Open for Takeout, we want to also let you in on this extensive list that includes black-owned restaurants throughout our area.

Know that a lot of these offer take out and/or delivery options and you could be enjoying their amazing food in the comfort of your home!
