The Norwegian Próg-Metal-Alternative-Rock kings Leprous made it back to Seattle 4.22.25 backing their new incredible "Melodies of Atonement" album tour at the Neptune Theatre. Each year they keep creeping up in venue size and with a packed Neptune Theatre they proved they are one of the premier rock bands on the planet!

The pure shining highlights of this incredible band is the multi level singing ranges of Einar Solberg ( I couldn't believe he could pull this off live) and the powerhouse clockwork drumming of Baard Kolstad. These guys are truly on a another level!

It's one thing to be incredible players, but it's the other level of styles they have in captivating the listener closely then punching them in the stomach with power and energy that captures the great essence of great songwriting. Perfect example is the single "Like a Sunken Ship" - an emotional explosion!

You watch and hear stuff like this and wonder "How can they pull this off live?" we'll Einar and the band just crushed it song after song proving their worth of popularity growth over these past years. Here's 2 songs from the show I video'd that show the power and visual explosiveness Leprous have in 2025.

These are the kinda bands overseas American radio won't touch, but it's what we all crave in new music and thankful of places on the new like YouTube we can discover and support. I'm telling ya there's sooooo many amazing bands you've never heard of not in the USA you would flip over. In this genre of prog-metal-rock Leprous are leading the pack with others like Australia's Karnivool, London's Haken, Mexico/Norway's Temic, and even this concert's openers Wheel. Wheel singer James Lascelles lost his voice before the show so they had to play the show instrumentally and it was weird and interesting at the same time.
