These past few days, we have seen the scorching heat wave affect local businesses in so many ways, but our local blood supplies may have been hit the hardest.
Due to the extremely high temperatures, Bloodworks Northwest was forced to cancel many appointments and Pop-Ups throughout the area to keep their staff and donors safe, but now that means almost all blood types are in jeopardy.
