We usually ask our Rockaholics to donate to our favorite charities on Giving Tuesday, but for one of our most beloved non-profit partners, that would be waiting too long.
Motley Zoo Animal Rescue received devastating news this week, resulting in the closure of their Redmond facility. This has NOTHING to do with the health of the organization, but their landlords have found serious structural issues with their building and have deemed it unsafe for continued use. You can read the full story from KIRO 7 here.
This facility supports fostering, training and rescuing animals, and everything must be out within a month. But they have nowhere to go.
So how can we help?? First, we can DONATE. Second, if you have any leads on a building or space for relocation, please call 206-453-8480.
We are absolutely saddened our friends are in this position, but if there's one thing we know about our Rockaholics, it's their ability to help others, including animals! An organization dedicated to helping animals find their forever homes, let's get Motley Zoo to their new home! Thank you for helping share this story and spread the word.
Happy Rocking,
Taryn Daly
