Hola 12s!
The Seahawks Schedule is in! And I'm not gonna lie gang, we're gonna be tested this year if all goes according to plan..
Breaking down chunk by chunk, the beginning of the year may be our easiest portion. Staring out in Indy against the Colts, I feel like that's a good challenge to kick things off, but our boys have handled Wentz before and they'll do it again. Tennessee is going to be the first test of this new looking offense of ours. They've bolstered their defense something fierce in the offseason and they'll present a fair challenge. A stalemate game that I believe we can get the upper hand on. I'm not particularly worried about Minnesota. It's the right time to play them at home and they've pretty well shown their hand. Wrapping up in SF against an ever-growing Niners team will be another game that gets me shaking a bit, but I still truly believe they come out on top. (4-0)
Chunk 2 is where I believe we're going to find the most challenge, and it'll be a little difficult to watch for a bit. Opening up with the bolstered up Rams in primetime will be a bloodbath that I think we ultimately win with small factors. Then we visit the Steelers, who are looking like a formidable challenge this year as well, but I think we can scrape past them as well. Hosting both the Saints and the Jags to wrap it up before the Bye week is where I think we're going to slip up. I think we'll have played our best games before then and we'll look sloppy here. New QBs will get these boys to throttle down a bit and we'll be running for our lives. Those 3 primetime games should give us an edge, and I believe coming into the bye week, I see us with a 6-2 record.
Coming out of the bye week is where I think we're going to get our 2nd most challenging portion. Coming out well rested against the Packers I think will give us the edge that we need to come out on top, but I never like playing in Lambo.. Our first encounter with the new West powerhouse Cardinal team is luckily at home, which will hopefully give us a little leg up, but with them having 10 weeks to work their kinks out, that may be a bit of a heart breaker. Not concerned about Washington nor hosting the Niners for another primetime game. Coming out of this chunk, I forsee 8-3
Coming into the homestretch, I think our boys are going to rally and give us a finish to the season to be proud of. I fully see them beating Houston, though they're going to pretend like they're not going to for about 3 and a half quarters. Going into LA is where I think we chalk up another loss unfortunately. Hosting the Bears and Lions afterward will give us the proper runway required to wrap things up in the stadium that we love to lose in, Arizona. I'm not going to put a prediction on this one, because I truly don't know how it'll shake out. But I honestly see us going 11-5 or 12-4.
It'll be a dogfight, but we'll be one of the most tested teams in the postseason, which may give our boys the fire they need to go to the show. All we can do at this point is sit and dream. 89 Days until that first Preseason game! With that...Mike Hawk is OUT!
