Rock The Cause

This weekend, you're invited to "Rock The Cause" in my neck of the woods, and rock we will!

You might recognize her from Season 20 of The Voice! Savanna Woods is one of the most talented performers to come out of our area in recent years, and you absolutely MUST see her live. She covered Soundgarden's "Black Hole Sun" during the competition earlier this year, paying homage to one of Seattle's most beloved rock bands.

Chris Eger of The Chris Eger Band is a longtime friend of mine, and one of the most respected blues guitarists from the PNW and beyond. But his talents reach far beyond the guitar, as evidenced by his One Take Weekly YouTube series, which earned him the Best Virtual Act award from the Washington Blues Society. Check out this INSANELY cool cover of Soundgarden's "Fell On Black Days", where he plays all the instruments, rips all the solos AND sings his ass off.

You'll also be able to check out Shaggy Sweet, who throw down an awesome mix of both cover jams and original music. They've just released a new album called Stranger Times, so make sure to snag that at the show and support this awesome band.

Don't miss these fabulous local acts during this weekend's "Rock The Cause" at Kristoferson Farm on Camano Island, home to ziplines galore at Canopy Tours NW for those adrenaline seekers out there. No ferry needed to get there! Hurry and snag any last minute tickets before they're gone. And if you're bummed you can't make it, you can still make a donation to support the cause here.

Thanks for supporting my hometown Stanwood and Camano Island charities, Rockaholics!

Happy Adventuring,

Taryn Daly
