Seattle-based hard rock outfit Wyatt Olney & The Wreckage have announced the release of their long-awaited 3rd album, Silver Bullet. The album, produced by Don Gunn (Deathcab for Cutie, King Crimson) will be released physically and digitally on June 4th, 2021 via Fuzzy Rump Records.
While the COVID-19 pandemic halted most bands through 2020 and 2021, Wyatt Olney & The Wreckage pivoted to releasing singles, music videos and behind the scenes content, garnering hundreds of thousands of streams on digital retail platforms. The group's most recent single, "Swan Song" reached over 100,000 streams in it's first week on Spotify. The full album clocks in at exactly 44:44 and is comprised of 11 new songs, including fan-favorites like "Get Haunted", "War Within" and "TraumaQueen".
Silver Bullet is the follow up to 2017's Welcome To Seattle – which instantly became a staple of the rock scene in the Pacific Northwest. Silver Bullet offers the anthemic aggression and melodic vulnerability that the band showcased on
their sophomore release and turns all the dials up to ten. It is also the first album to feature new bassist and backing vocalist Malcolm Williams, making for stellar vocal harmonies and added complexity to their previous work.
