What's a story you couldn't tell people back in the day? If you couldn't tell it back in the days of Sex and Drugs and Rock and Roll, you sure as hell can't tell it now.

What band were you most proud to bring to a bigger audience? Just really glad to play a small part in the whole Seattle explosion of the early '90s.

How has Seattle changed the most? We all know that it's gotten too expensive.. and that's why I moved back to my hometown a few years ago

What's something you never thought you'd see? The NHL in Seattle

What's your best memory of meeting a rock star? When Stevie Ray Vaughn played his first Seattle show in the '80s at the Paramount, we were getting cloudy before the show at the Cloud Room across the street. Stevie Ray walked in by himself... and ordered a double scotch... neat. When the waitress came around the bar and towards the cash register to ring it up, somebody behind me yelled at her... "His money's no good here... let me pay for that." So she walked back to him with his money and pointed in my general direction. He came walking right up to me ... shook my hand and said, "Thanks for the drink." The guy who bought it was too starstruck to talk, so I just said, "Sure... have a great show" and he walked off. After the concert we go backstage to say hi, and he looks at me... and says... "Hey you're the guy who bought me the drink before the show... thanks again." I got credit for it twice and didn't have to pay for it.

Who was your best friend at the station back in the day? Well I had a great time hosting football parties with Steve Slaton. That was fun. One of my best friends there was the late great Jim Kampman. Kampy was the greatest.
