1. Billy Idol on Crow and West's show
2. Taking the KISW Flys softball team to McNiel Island to play the inmates
3. The near riot in Seward Park when Def Leppard showed up to autograph the Miss Rock
What's a story you couldn't tell people back in the day? There was always a stash of various drugs hidden in one of the cart machines!
What band were you most proud to bring to a bigger audience? Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers
How has Seattle changed the most? I haven't lived in Seattle since the '80s, so really can't answer that.
What's something you never thought you'd see? The total elimination of on-air personnel.
What's your best memory of meeting a rock star? Angus Young inviting me to join he and his family for a meal after their Tacoma Dome Show.
Who was your best friend at the station back in the day? Gary Crow. He and I were neighbors in West Seattle. Robin Erickson, too.
