What are your three greatest memories at KISW?
1. Jumping from the 3rd floor deck of my lower Queen Anne apartment into the pool below with members of Alice In Chains, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden and others after a KISW Flys softball game!
2. Having Harry Shearer tell us that everyone knew the words and sang along when he performed our Twisted Tune "Walkin' Round in Women's Underwear" at Don Henley's Christmas party!
3. Meeting the members of the RHCP during an interview with The Rock's Damon Stewart on their first radio tour while they wore nothing but socks on their junk.
What's a story you couldn't tell people back in the day? Smoked a blunt with Joe Walsh in the parking lot of Parker's.
What band were you most proud to bring to a bigger audience? Tool
How has Seattle changed the most? You used to be able to razz a guy in a Sea Turtle costume without someone making a Federal case out of it.
What's something you never thought you'd see? Guys who we hung out with who became my friends ending up in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
What's your best memory of meeting a rock star? In 1989 when Alice Cooper did our show. Afterward he said he wanted to meet some fans so we drove his tour bus to Renton and thousands of Microsoft employees came out to meet him.

What was your most memorable band interview? When Ozzy used an engraving pen to sign a pocket watch with a Rockaholic's son's ashes inside.
What is Spike up to now? He's the Media Relations Director for UV Health Group and still podcasts with Bob Rivers from time to time.
