September is National Suicide Awareness/Prevention month, and of course, this hits all to close to home with the rock community.

I have some friends in Albuquerque I have blogged about before, their band's name is Alter Apex, and they are heavily inspired by the PNW sound, taking inspiration from Alice in Chains and the Seattle Sound we all love. Check them out here: Alter Apex!

They are releasing a new song TOMORROW, September 16th called "Not Your Time", and it is to "speak this simple, but profoundly positive message… every life is worth living. Every. Single. One." Check out their message here:

A simple message that we can all relate to.

Another cool thing about this band, it was formed from the quarantine depths of 2020. Some friends getting together and realizing they wanted to make music that inspired them, and speak a positive message. I love these guys, and I love this message. To pre save the song head here: NOT YOUR TIME
