Metal behemoths Slipknot just announced the lineup and details surrounding the band's homecoming Knotfest Iowa 2021 one-day fest scheduled to go down at the National Balloon Classic Field in Indianola, IA on September 25.
Also joining the masked marauders for this epic festival 14 miles from their hometown of Des Moines are the recently-in-the-market for a bassist Megadeth, as well as singer Mike Patton's best known (and most tame) musical project, Faith No More.

Filling out the killer lineup are Lamb Of God, Suicide Boys, Gojira, Trivium, TECH N9NE, Fever 333, Knocked Loose, Turnstile, Gatecreeper, and Vended. “A home show is always insane, but a home ‘Knotfest’ show will be on a whole other level,” Slipknot‘s Shawn “Clown” Crahan, whose likeness was recently auctioned off as an NFT, said in a statement. “Prepare. See you soon for the new reality.”
