Nobody in their right mind could ever conceive Winnie the Pooh as a horror movie.  That would be the common thought at least.

But alas, someone has done just that, and the trailer for Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey was just released, and it truly requires a watch.

According to VarietyWinnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey follows Winnie and Piglet who go on a rampage after Christopher Robin leaves them for college.

Without the influence of their human friend, Winnie and Piglet go feral, "seeking prey and stalking the humans near their homes."

Director Rhys Waterfield says the movie will "balance the absurdity of the premise with genuine terror as the legendary stuffed animals embark on their rampage."

He says, "When you try and do a film like this, and it's a really wacky concept, it's very easy to go down a route where nothing is scary and it's just really ridiculous and really, like, stupid and we wanted to go between the two."

Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey is set to be released later this year.
