Like many kids, Sia Sankaran "felt horrible" after learning about the Uvalde school shooting, and she wanted to help. So the thirteen-year-old partnered with Loving Library to start a Dallas chapter.

Sankaran has been creating grief kits for students to take their minds off of this stressful time. According to Dallas Morning News, she has already collected over $17,500 since she started raising money on June 13th.

The care packages include things like journals, puzzles, and activity books. They will be distributed on Thursday.
