Anyone who's ventured to Deep Ellum on a weekend night knows how much of a nightmare parking is.

The district is looking to alleviate some of that stress though and make it easier for patrons to visit, as they've announced they will soon be launching a new valet parking service!

The Deep Ellum Foundation made the announcement last week, along with the news that they will also be expanding its rideshare "flow zone" to offer more convenience to visitors.

According to WFAA, the valet service will begin May 11, and will be available Thursdays and Fridays from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. and Saturday and Sundays from 1 p.m. to 1 a.m.

The valet area will be located at 2625 Commerce Street, between Twisted Root and DOT's Hop House.

The Deep Ellum Foundation also said the rideshare "flow zone" will be expanding starting on Friday, May 12.

A new "flow zone" will be located at 2551 Elm Street, next to Elm & Good and across from Velvet Taco, with other locations on Good Latimer Expressway, Commerce Street, Malcom X Boulevard, Floyd Street and Swiss Avenue.

Stephanie Keller Hudiburg, executive director of the Deep Ellum Foundation, said in a statement, "The economic and cultural hub, Deep Ellum, is at the center of how the Dallas region's transportation landscape is transforming.

"Through these neighborhood efforts across modes, Deep Ellum is leading  transportation innovation in North Texas and making it more convenient than ever to explore the incomparable district."
