Freezing temperatures means frozen iguanas might be falling from trees in Florida

Residents of Florida we have a warning to issue: Do NOT be alarmed!

The iguanas falling from the sky is NOT a sign of the apocalypse!

Iguanas are cold-blooded creatures, and because the temperatures in Florida are near freezing, THEY are actually freezing themselves. And because they like to crawl up and down trees, naturally if they freeze, they fall.

Experts, according to Fox 35 in Orlando, advise not to disturb the fallen iguanas, as they will warm up and move on eventually.
