You never forget something like the moment you get engaged. It's a special occasion, a story you'll tell forever.
This one is memorable for sure, for multiple reasons, some of them the wrong reasons.
A man got down on one knee to propose to his girlfriend at a Toronto Blue Jays baseball game, and you can imagine she received the shock of her life NOT because her boyfriend was finally popping the question, but because he did so while holding a Ring Pop lollipop candy instead of an actual ring.
She did not take this revelation well.
She yelled at him, "What the f*** is wrong with you," reared back, and proceeded to slap him directly across the face.
Since the video went viral, people have been trying to figure out if this was a genuine proposal gone wrong or just a prank.
Some are leaning this towards being a real proposal, as a few sharp-eyed internet sleuths per the New York Post noticed a lump in the man's pocket, which they believe to be the actual ring with which the man was going to propose with.
The Ring Pop they believe to just be an innocent prank gone that completely missed the mark.
If this proposal was real, many online were quick to advise the girl to get out of that relationship as soon as possible.
"The guy pulled a jerk move. If he cannot be serious for something important imagine what type of clown he is day to day," said one user.
Another added, "That's an indication of how the rest of his life would go marrying her … move on dude," while many suggested that this act was a "big relationship red flag."
