A man in Singapore just needs to learn that sometimes, that love connection just wasn’t meant to be.

The fella, identified as K. Kawshigan, can’t seem to grasp that concept all too well because he recently filed a couple of lawsuits against a woman because she refuses to date him.

Kawshigan and Nora Tan apparently met in 2016 and commenced a friendship, but Kawshigan wanted it to be more.  Tan continually rejected his advances and eventually cut contact with Kawshigan.

Kawshigan threatened to sue, but stopped after Tan agreed to go to counseling sessions with him.  Those sessions lasted for about a year-and-a-half, until Tan stopped attending.  As a result, Kawshigan has filed those lawsuits.

According to the New York Post, one suit was filed in a high court with a claim of $2.3 million, for allegedly causing “damage to Kawshigan’s stellar reputation” and “trauma, depression and impacts” to his life.

The second suit was filed with a magistrates’ court, asking for $16,700 in damages for “breaching an agreement to improve their relationship after she stopped attending counseling sessions.”

That suit was dismissed by the deputy registrar who reportedly called it “manifestly groundless and without foundation,” adding that the court would not be an accessory to Kawshigan’s “calculated attempt to compel engagement” from Tan.

The judgment said “after years of massaging the claimant’s unhappiness, has finally decided to stand up to his threats rather than cower and give in to his demands.”

The high court suit is set for a case conference February 9.
