The town of Mustang, TX, about 55 miles south of Dallas, went on sale on 2017 for $4 million but never found a buyer.
That is until Mavericks owner Mark Cuban stepped in.
Cuban recently purchased the town for $2 million as a favor for a friend. He told the Dallas News in an e-mail, "I don't know what if anything I will do with it."
Recent census records show Mustang has a population of 23 people and stretches 77 acres. It's home to a trailer park, and the nightclub Wispers Cabaret which reportedly is in need of "dire repair."
