San Diego resident Randy Williams just achieved a goal that even the most steadfast of travel enthusiasts can only dream of!
After visiting Turkmenistan last week, the man known as "Ramblin' Randy" completed his goal he started a decade ago, and visited all 193 countries in the world!
Williams probably would have completed his mission earlier had it not been for the pandemic.
Along with all 193 countries recognized by the United Nations, Williams also visited Vatican City and Palestine, and has also made stops in disputed territories including Kosovo, Western Sahara, and Taiwan.
Now, Williams is focused on his next project.
He told UPI, "Well, when you run out of countries, you've gotta make your own. I bring you the People's Republic of Slowjamistan. My own country. I bought 11 acres near the salon sea, and I called it Slowjamistan. It's my country; I am the Salton."
