Though the rivalry between Dallas and Houston is fierce, even we think this is a little too harsh for our friends down south.

According to a report from LawnStarter, Houston was found to be the “dirtiest city in America,” based on a number of factors including “pollution, living conditions, infrastructure, and consumer satisfaction."

Of the 150 cities looked at, Houston ranked as the dirtiest, followed by Newark, New Jersey, San Bernadino, California, and Detroit, Michigan.

LawnStarter says in its report that Houston's top ranking was due to its “greenhouse gas emissions from large industrial facilities,” along with having "the biggest cockroach problem, too.”

Houston was one of two Texas to make the top ten, with San Antonio appearing at No. 7.
