If you were able to secure a ticket to one of Taylor Swift's shows in Arlington a couple of weeks back but are still craving more, we've got good news for you!
An art exhibition with art exclusively dedicated to Taylor Swift will be making its way to the Arlington Museum of Art this summer!
Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour Collection, will open Saturday, June 3, 2023 at the Arlington Museum of Art, and will feature original costumes, photographs, and concert videos drawn from her creative periods, or "eras."
Highlights of the exhibition are eight costumes worn by Swift from her record-breaking albums Midnights, folklore, Red (Taylor's Version), and Fearless (Taylor's Version).
Art historian August Jordan Davis of UT Arlington says the Eras Tour Collection will be an experience not only for Swifties and current art lovers, but also for future museum-goers.
He said, "Taylor Swift is a storyteller who obviously loves exploration. From writing and singing to acting and directing, from the changing genres of her musical journey across two decades, to crafting the concepts and characters of her albums and songs, Swift is attuned to experimentation.
"The variety of eras in Swift's career shows her dedication to finding new forms of expression and performance that will bring her latest ideas to life."
Tickets will range in price from $5 to $20 depending on ages and demographics, and are available to purchase now!
