Law enforcement agencies in Cass County say three juveniles have been arrested in connection with a threat that was made against Raymore-Peculiar East Middle School.

Raymore Police made one arrest Sunday afternoon and two more Sunday evening.

Peculiar Police posted a letter from Katie Campbell, the principal of Ray-Pec East Middle School. The letter said the threat was made on social media on March 3, apparently from a student directed at Ray-Pec East.

The letter assured parents that student safety in the school district is a top priority.

Cass County sheriff's deputies are assisting in the investigation, and an increase law enforcement presence was planned for East Middle School on Monday.
