St. Louis – A well-funded group of Republicans is launching a campaign aimed at keeping Eric Greitens from winning the Republican nomination for U.S. Senate in Missouri.

The group calling itself Show Me Values, which is backed by Rex and Jeanne Sinquefield, among others, plans to start running a million dollars worth of TV ads tomorrow.

Politico reports donors approached former Trump White House official, Kansas City native John DeStefano about setting up the super PAC earlier this year. DeStefano will oversee it.

One ad will reportedly say that Greitens was involved in 'scandal after scandal' and highlight allegations from his ex-wife that he abused her and her children. Another ad will portray him as soft on China.

Greitens campaign manager issued a statement saying "These swamp creatures and grifters know their time at the trough is finished, That’s why they’re scared of America First champion Governor Greitens."
