KANSAS CITY - The vaccination rate for Missouri kindergarteners continues to drop.

The Missouri Department of Health is reporting that some 9% of all public school kindergarteners did not get the MMR (measles, mumps, and rubella) nor the Polio vaccinations last school year. And just 85% of private school kids got the MMR vaccine last school year. That is down about 5% from five-years ago.

Health experts attribute the decline to autism misinformation and so-called vaccine weariness.
