Earlier this year twenty one pilots marked the release of their 2020 single with a fan-centric, endless music video that launched in June. Quite literally the video kept on going, but after almost six months of running live-stream footage, the music video came to a close last week. Since its end date, the video was crowned with its new Guinness title.

The video was powered by the visual software, Imposium and refreshed at every 3 minutes and 40-second mark, displaying new clips of fans in real-time. Even though the video was technically powered by Imposium, the real commitment came from the fans who were dedicated to keeping the video going.

twenty one pilots tweeted about their new world record, writing, “since josh accidentally pulled the plug on the never-ending video for Level of Concern, Guinness checked out the stats and declared it officially the longest video ever. congratulations, you did it.”

To announce the ending of the stream Josh Dun shared a follow-up video where he explains the video would never end unless someone finally cut the cord and stopped the power. As he is sharing his explanation, Dun is overloading a Christmas tree with lights and décor.

At the beginning of December, the band delighted fans with a surprise Christmas single called "Christmas Saves The Year," which expounds hope and optimism after a hellish year. On it Tyler Joseph sings, “cause everybody wants to make it home this year / Even if the world is crumbling down… You rest assured, Christmas saves the year.”
