Alec and Hilaria Baldwin have reportedly welcomed their sixth child.
The news comes as Hilaria took to social media on Monday, sharing a photo of her 5 eldest children plus a newborn all cuddled up on the couch. She captioned the photo, "7," and included a red heart emoji.
A source has confirmed the People that the newborn in the photo is, in fact, their sixth child.
The couple are parents to sons Edu, Romeo Alejandro David, 2, Leonardo Angel Charles, 4, and Rafael Thomas, 5, as well as daughter Carmen Gabriela, 7. Alec is also the father of 25-year-old Ireland.
The news comes as a shock to fans, as an interview with People back in November indicated that the couple was not planning on having anymore children, saying "during times of COVID, it very much feels like we're done" expanding their family.
"Everybody's asking me this question. I don't know. I've said in the past that I was done when I wasn't done. I think, right now, I'm so tired," she said. "And I feel, just with COVID - it's just insanity."
Hilaria also shared that her 5 eldest children often ask when they'll be getting another sibling.
"My kids are used to new siblings coming in, so they're already like, 'When is the next one going to come?'" she said. "And I'm like, 'Guys, you and the entire world need to stop asking me that!'"
Recently, Hilaria came under fire for allegedly misrepresenting her heritage, having been born in Boston as Hillary rather than in Mallorca, Spain as Hilaria. She took to social media with various explanations at the time and in February, issued an apology on Instagram.
“I’ve spent the last month listening, reflecting, and asking myself how I can learn and grow. My parents raised my brother and me with two cultures, American and Spanish, and I feel a true sense of belonging to both,” Baldwin captioned a family photo.
She added, “The way I’ve spoken about myself and my deep connection to two cultures could have been better explained - I should have been more clear and I'm sorry. I'm proud of the way I was raised, and we’re raising our children to share the same love and respect for both.”
