5th coronavirus case confirmed in Illinois

Springfield, IL (KMOX) - Health officials say they've confirmed the 5th case of coronavirus in Illinois.

The Illinois Department of Public Health says the 5th individual is a Cook County resident in his 20's.  He flew into Chicago O'Hare Airport earlier this month after traveling to Italy.   Officials believe that's where he contracted the virus.

Samples have also been sent to the CDC.
