Actress Katherine Helmond known for 'Who's the Boss,' 'Everybody Loves Raymond' dies at 89

LOS ANGELES — Actress Katherine Helmond has died at 89-years-old due to complications from Alzheimer’s. She was known for her roles shows like "Who’s the Boss," "Everybody Loves Raymond," "Soap," and "Coach."

She was nominated for an Emmy several times for her roles in thoses shows. Varitey reports she died February 23 at her home in Los Angeles.

Her “Who’s the Boss?” co-star Alyssa Milano is among those who have taken to Twitter to pay their respects.
