OVERLAND, Mo. (KMOX) - Missouri American Water has issued a precautionary boil order for a part of Overland.
Customers are asked to boil water for three minutes before drinking or cooking. Tap water is okay for washing, bathing and other non-consumable uses.
A watermain break at Lindbergh and Oak Forest Parkway Court is the reason for the boil order. About 230 customers are affected.
The affected areas are: Oak Forest Spur Drive, Oak Forest Parkway Drive, Beckham Ridge Court, Willowbrooke Manors Court, Kennabrooke Court, Canon Ridge Drive, Liebrooke Court, Lindbergh Place Drive and Lindbergh Plaza Court.
