ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOX) — If you bought St. Louis Rams tickets and apparel between 2010 and when Stan Kroenke took them to Los Angeles in 2016, you may be able to get your money back.
That's because a class action lawsuit has been given the green light to move forward by a St. Louis judge.
Judge Timothy Boyer ruled this week that the lawsuit, filed back in 2016, could proceed as a class action lawsuit. It alleges the Rams purposefully misled fans, who may not have bought the team gear or tickets to games. This means Missouri residents who bought tickets or merchandise from April 21, 2010 to January 4, 2016 can participate.
The Rams had fought to keep it from becoming class action since it had been filed.
This also means Kroenke and the Rams now have at least four active lawsuits related to the team's move to Los Angeles in 2016.
The remaining St. Louis lawsuits include:
- Relocation: This one is the biggest of the three, which objects the way the NFL owners and Rams handled the relocation process of moving the Rams to Los Angeles.
- Practice facility: The lawsuit is over ownership of the Rams former practice facility in Earth City (Rams Park), which is currently being leased by Lou Fusz Athletic.
- PSL holders: Refunds to St. Louis Rams PSL holder could eventually cost the Rams $24 million, as the website to register for your refunds will be live later this month.
