
(KMOX) - A Connecticut woman who cops say had been living in his van for months was arrested and charged with animal cruelty after police removed 22 dogs and a macaw from her van. Cops found the dogs and bird after pulling the man over for a motor vehicle violation.
Cops say they found several small dogs in the front passenger compartment and the rest of the van was covered in garbage and animal waste. The animals are being treated at a shelter.
She told police she had been living in the 2016 Ford Transit XLT transport van for several months, but didn't explain why.

The woman is Suzanne Muzaffer Eser, 58, of Peabody Mass. was also charged with misuse of a marker plate, according to the Hartford Courant.
She posted a $1,000 cash bond and is scheduled to appear in Superior Court in New Britain on June 10.
