
ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - St. Louis County NAACP President John Gaskin is being called on to resign, after announcing the organization's support for the Better Together merger plan, and admitting he is working for the group pushing the plan.
In a statement, Dellwood Mayor Reggie Jones accuses Gaskin of selling out the very people he is supposed to be representing, and selling the civil rights organization to the Bettter Together movement. Gaskin announced his support for the Better Together City/County merger plan and revealed that he is being paid by Unite STL, which is promoting the proposal.
