Voice of Caring: Forest ReLeaf of Missouri

Forest ReLeaf of Missouri

Forest ReLeaf believes in the power of trees to transform our communities. Since 1993, we have been operating the region’s only community-assisted tree nursery in Creve Coeur Park in Maryland Heights, MO. We have distributed more than 200,000 trees that are now thriving - on our streets, in our parks, at our schools and more.

These projects have increased tree-canopy in low-income and under-resourced areas, assisted with reforestation after natural disasters, and combated tree loss due to invasive pests such as the emerald ash borer. Education is another key element of our mission. Programs such as Tree Camp and TreeKeepers are cultivating environmental stewards of all ages, while the Missouri Forestkeepers Network engages thousands of Missourians in citizen science to gauge the health of our forests. We need trees - and Forest ReLeaf is working to make trees available for all.

Connect with Forest ReLeaf of Missouri for trees, training, and meaningful volunteer experiences. Free trees for community tree planting projects will be available through May and again in the fall. Sign up for the Spring TreeKeeper Course starting March 3 or Summer TreeCamp, in June. Volunteer activities are available year-round!
