ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - Was an inattentive driver to blame for the latest collision involving the Loop Trolley?

This one happened Saturday at Delmar and Hamilton Blvd.

The front of the trolley crashed into the front of a black S-U-V, which made a turn right into the path of the trolley.

Earlier today a motorist attempted to make a u-turn in front of trolley car at the intersection of Delmar and Hamilton Boulevard. The motorist hit the front right side of the trolley. No one was injured in the accident. We are currently running single trolley service.

The trolley district says that motorist was trying to make a U-turn. Apparently, he or she either thought they could beat the trolley or.. just didn't look.

The Loop Trolley, for now, is running reduced service with one car.
