FENTON, Mo. (KMOX/AP) updated at 9 a.m. - Two people were shot and their car stolen at a gas a station in Gravois Bluffs, Monday morning. Police closed some roads in the area to try and keep the suspects contained, but no arrests had been made as of 9 a.m., Monday.
Two people were shot at a Phillips 66 gas station on Gravois Rd. and Highway 141, before dawn this morning. Here's a description from police of what happened:
Granda says the investigation shows that a suspect and the victims contacted each other, then went behind the business and shots rang out. One suspect left in the victims' white Nissan. A second suspect in a separate car also fled.The stolen Nissan was seen about 10 minutes later but the suspect was able to run into a park and get away.
St. Louis County officers have been searching the area around Minnie Ha Ha Park, Old Gravois, and the Meremac River, and were asking you to avoid the area in the meantime. As of 8:20 a.m., police say the investigation is continuing, but they have reopened the area near Minnie Ha Ha Park to the public again.
Update: Minnie Ha Ha Park is reopened. The investigation at the original shooting/carjacking scene continues. We're still looking for two suspects: one, a black male with a maroon shirt and long dreadlocks. Anyone with info. should call us at 636-529-8210.

The two victims are recovering at a local hospital. A man is hospitalized in critical condition and a woman is in stable condition.
