ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - There was a water rescue early Saturday afternoon on a flooded stretch of Riverview Drive at Prigge Road.
St. Louis fire captain Garon Mosby says two adults and three children were sitting on their car's roof when the marine rescue task force arrived, "The driver indicated the road closed/road flooded signage was slightly turned, so they thought it was okay to drive through. Again, we remind you, when in doubt, find another route. Turn around, don't drown."
No injuries were reported.
