ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. (KMOX) — It began with a rolling argument.
Two men on the Red Line Metrolink, rolling eastbound through North County toward the St. Charles Rock Road Station, arguing about something —what — is not known.
Police say when the train eased into the station one of the men pulled out a pistol, shot the other, and got away.
The victim was rushed to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead shortly after he arrived.
Police are looking for witnesses and for surveillance video that may have captured images of the crime.
The train sat on the track for hours at the station, while detectives examined the shooting scene.
