ST. LOUIS (KMOX) — Former KMOX Entertainment Editor Harry Hamm may now be the target of a federal investigation, stemming from child sex porn charges filed by the state.
Assistant St. Louis County Prosecutor Teresa Bomkamp, who is assigned to Hamm's case, says federal investigators are interested in the possession of child pornography aspect of the case.
Hamm is accused of possessing child pornography on his cell phone, and of sodomy and incest involving a minor relative.
Handcuffed and wearing ankle bracelets, Hamm, 77, showed up in court for a bond hearing still without an attorney. The judge ordered an indigency hearing next week which will determine whether Hamm has enough money to hire his own lawyer, or should be appointed a public defender.
