Nearly 3,000 piglets loose after crash on I-70 in Illinois

EFFINGHAM, Ill. (KMOX) - Watch out for small pigs on the highway! That's the warning from police in Effingham to anyone driving along Interstate-70 in Cumberland County.  

The message comes after nearly 3,000 piglets were set free due to an accident near the mile marker 127 on I-70. 

Police shared a photo of the loose pigs just after 8 a.m., Friday.
