Monroe County, IL (KMOX) - Officials are closely watching saturated levees in Monroe and Randolph Counties.

In a facebook post the Monroe County Sheriff says levee districts are working to shore up a levee just south of the Monroe County line, in the area of Fort de Chartres and Prarie du Rocher.

The Sheriffs office is reportedly asking residents south of Maeystown to evacuate.
