The CEO of Virgin Hyperloop One Jay Walder says Missouri is the front-runner to get the futuristic transportation technology first.

Hyperloop uses vacuum tubes and magnetic levitation technology to shoot passengers in a pod at 700 miles per hour. It would cut the commute between St. Louis and Kansas City to about 30 minutes.
